A return to the London Japanese Junior Football Club for a football clinic.
The event was held for Japanese children living in London. At the end of the day, a father’s team also joined the event. It was a fulfilling day for both children and adults to enjoy playing soccer together. During the offseason, I hold football clinics because I believe it is my role to share my long-term overseas experience with the children and their parents. I also believe it is one way to give back to the people who support me. For me, these clinics are also an exercise in verbalizing the sensory input I received as a soccer player. They are a valuable time for me to look back objectively at my own thoughts and actions.

再訪となるLondon Japanese Junior Football Clubでのフットボールクリニック.
ロンドン在住の日本人の子供たちを対象に開催。最後にはお父さんチームも参加し、子供から大人まで真剣かつ楽しみながらサッカーを学んだ1日だったと思う。
私がシーズンオフの期間を利用して各地でフットボールクリニックを行う理由は、海外で長くプレーしてきた経験を子どもたちや保護者の皆さんに伝えていくことも自分の役割であり、応援して下さってる方々への恩返しの１つだと思っているから。クリニックは、サッカー選手としてインプットした感覚的なことを言語化する訓練にもなり、自分の思考やプレイを客観的に振り返ることができる貴重な時間にもなっている。
